ICE (Islamabad Courses of ENT)

Aiming at Surgical Excellence

The Islamabad Courses of ENT (ICE) is a pioneering surgical education platform committed to redefining the standards of training in Otorhinolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery in Pakistan and beyond.

Born out of a shared dream by leading ENT surgeons from Islamabad, ICE was established to fill a long-standing void in hands-on surgical education  a void shaped by limited access to cadavers, infrastructure, and structured learning opportunities. With unwavering determination and collaboration, this vision transformed into reality, giving rise to a center that now stands as a symbol of surgical innovation, professional growth, and excellence.

Our Vision and Mission

At its heart, ICE is guided by a simple yet powerful mission to make advanced surgical education accessible, affordable, and world-class.
We aim to empower surgeons with not just knowledge, but confidence  the kind that comes only from practice, mentorship, and mastery.

ICE envisions a future where every surgeon in Pakistan has the opportunity to train at international standards, right here at home. Our guiding motto, “Aiming at Surgical Excellence,” reflects our enduring commitment to quality, skill development, and patient safety.

Our Journey

Since its inception in October 2022, ICE has rapidly grown into a recognized institution of surgical learning. What began as a single training initiative has evolved into a sustained, high-impact educational movement one that has already empowered. Till date ICE has accomplished 7 Courses Successfully.

  • 760+ ENT graduates

  • 1,250+ doctors across specialties

  • 106 national faculty members

  • 45 international experts

Each course brings together mentors and mentees, ideas and innovation, precision and purpose  all working collectively to strengthen Pakistan’s surgical landscape.

Our Training Philosophy

At ICE, we believe that surgery cannot be mastered in theory alone. True skill is honed through touch, technique, and time spent in the operating field.
That’s why Hands-on Cadaveric Dissection Training lies at the core of our teaching philosophy  the globally recognized gold standard in surgical training.

Using fresh frozen cadaveric specimens, each course is conducted in a fully equipped operating theatre environment, allowing participants to experience real-life anatomy and procedural challenges in a controlled, safe, and deeply educational setting. This immersive approach ensures that every delegate leaves with enhanced technical precision, a deeper anatomical understanding, and greater operative confidence.

ICE proudly offers a suite of advanced surgical masterclasses, each designed to meet the evolving needs of modern surgical practice:
